Back in the Saddle Again

Saturn Ring Blues
After four and a half days of Rainforest Writers' Village goodness, I'm back in my classroom, getting material ready for the new day.  I'm looking over the notes the sub left me.  Evidently my students weren't as cooperative with her as they have been with me.  Sigh.  That means I'll have to do a short speech on classroom etiquette today.  Not exactly what I want to talk about.

In the meantime, I have the project that I made amazing progress on at the Writers' Village that just needs a finishing touch to be done.  Hooray!

The picture is of a waterfall that's almost exactly three miles from the resort (I know, because I ran the road--distance becomes very precise when I'm on a jog).

The falls are close enough to the road that, as the owner of the resort told me, when it's running heavy, a cloud of mist flows across the road.

I think this spot will be my new mental happy place when the day becomes rough.

I shot a couple minutes of video of it too. When I'm stressed, I can loop it and ascend into a meditative state.
