I thought I was suffering from dehydration and possibly a few minutes from heat stroke yesterday when I realized during my run that I wasn't sweating. It was 9:00 in the morning, the sun beating down, and already in the mid 80s. It turns out that there wasn't anything wrong with me, though. There was almost no humidity in the air. By the afternoon, the temperature rose to over 100 degrees with 2% humidity. At 2% humidity, I was sweating like crazy, but it evaporated almost immediately.
A few days ago, I was wondering how they came up with the names for the trails where I run. I discovered the explanation for one of them, the Clunker trail. A little bit beyond where I normally run, the rusted out remains of a car sits at the bottom of the valley. It's pretty cool, sort of a mechanical fossil of an earlier time. My mind goes to town on old things anyway. I like ghost towns and antique shops and abandoned buildings. It's the story teller in me.
So, here's the challenge. I can't find any logos on the remains of this car. Can anyone identify the make and year?
