The latest listing of "new and notable" books from Locus Online includes my Flying in the Heart of the Lafayette Escadrille. Woo hoo!
Also, in an interesting (to me) side note, writer/blogger Jeff Ambrose was musing about his short story reading and included me in a list of writers who he said, ". . . almost always get it done for me; they almost always write short fiction I love to read," which is a pretty cool thing to read about yourself. What really caught my eye though was his favorite authors: "Harlan Ellison, Ray Bradbury, Stephen King, Orson Scott Card, Ernest Hemingway, Flannery O’Connor, James Van Pelt, or Lawrence Block."
That's a flattering list. Thanks, Jeff!

Not that I disagree with the assessment. . .
I should clarify - I *agree* with the assessment.
