Rainforest Writers' Village

I'll post a more detailed account later, but here's a compelling reason to schedule the Rainforest Writers' Village for yourself next year.

This is the view from my cabin, and I have four days to look at it while I write, free from distractions (well, except that there's an Internet connection, which tempted me into posting this).

Click on the image and it will be even clearer.

Jim --

That looks awesome! What's the status of spouses/SOs and/or kids at something like that? I know it's for writers to write and talk and write, but are there things for the rest of the family to do (should they go along)?

Could be nice next year...

Hi, Jeff. There were spouses, significant others, and at least one child at the writers' village. Since I didn't have my kids, I didn't pay much attention to the amenities for kids, but there's plenty of beautiful hiking and exploring to do. I'm going to do a long post about my experience there, so maybe that will give you a better idea.

Hi, Jim. I'll check out your post, and also Jay is posting about Rainforest as well. It seems like a nice getaway for me and for my wife, especially if it's write/hike/explore during the day and dinner/talk/write at night...
