Re: My google fu has failed me.
The heretical idea that membership in SFWA should require periodic requalification. Publishing three stories in the late 70s doesn't make you a science fiction writer now, does it? Well, DOES IT?!?! And who the hell am *I* to say who is or isn't a real writer? Do people just stop being a real writer one day because *I* said so? What's the point of being in a elite writer's group if jsut anyone can get in and support the function of the group with their dues?

(insert more heat than light, repeat ad nauseum)

Re: My google fu has failed me.
Thank you for that perfect explanation. I kind of want to step on the little blue alien now.

LOL. My journals are almost as dusty. I still get the urge to log stuff in them, but it seems that time and energy are ever-lacking resources that keep me from it.

    Congratulations on all your sales.…

Can you tell me how to get in touch with the artist. I would like to use a copy on some t-shirts as a prize for a kids fishing derby.

I was excited when I googled Adie Gladieux and got a hit that led me to your article. My 92 year old father passed away the day after Christmas. He had talked of two good friends he had in the army…
